Andrii Pidhainyi

Andrii Pidhainyi has over 20-year experience in the field of law. After having received a diploma in law in 1994, he started work in the State Property Fund of Ukraine, and in 1997 he headed legal department of the Fund. Within the period of employment in the Fund, Andrii was directly involved in the development of basic regulatory acts on the matters of privatization, management and lease of state property facilities. He took an active part in the introduction in Ukraine of the ‘case-by-case approach privatization’ involving external financial and legal advisers.

In 2005, he left his position with a view of establishing his own practice and jointly with colleagues became a co-founder of the law firm Pidhainyi Barabash Sharapa, which subsequently changed its name to AGRECA. He has a significant experience in structuring and maintenance of privatization arrangements, and implementation of public-private partnership projects. He has skills and experience to develop tender documentation, prepare complex contracts and draft regulatory acts, including laws.

Andrii is an expert in marine and railway infrastructure, as well as implementation of public-private partnership projects.
